You can’t fill a bucket
When it’s turned upon its side
You only get an answer
When your mind is open wide
For something to be held
You must have a holding space
To receive a goodly gift
You simply need to have a place
With all your earnest asking
Be very open to receive
To ask while being “closed”
Is ineffective and naïve
Make a habit to be open
You’ll receive more every day
Open both your mind and heart
